BRIAN CONNOLLY

Brian is a highly skilled and result-oriented Production Engineer with diverse expertise in the oil and gas industry. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. With a strong track record, Brian has optimized, developed, and managed various oil and gas assets in different regions. 

At Javelin Energy Partners, Brian led the operational management of the Eagle Ford asset. He successfully executed a workover program, designed surface facilities, and implemented artificial lift systems for new horizontal wells. His contributions also include initiating an oil/gas/water sampling program and leading a study on dissolved metals to resolve oil quality issues.

During his tenure at Merit Energy Company, Brian managed gas fields and infrastructure across Hugoton Field in SW Kansas. He oversaw multiple oil-heavy waterfloods and improved field performance through facility upgrades and repairs. Additionally, he effectively managed mature fields in Bighorn Basin, Wyoming, and implemented large-scale infrastructure projects.

Brian’s experience at Devon Energy showcases his proficiency in artificial lift methods, such as ESP, Gas lift, Rod Pump, Plunger Lift, and Gas-Assisted Plunger. He managed a wide range of projects, including oil/gas/water infrastructure development and surface facilities construction. His contributions led to a significant reduction in artificial lift and rod pump failure rates.

Throughout his career, Brian has demonstrated adaptability and original thinking. He excelled in data management, failure analysis, and nodal analysis, while also actively contributing to corporate teams focusing on innovative technologies and optimization strategies. His expertise extends to regulatory compliance, development planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
