Chris Athens is the Chief Financial Officer of iStick Capital Management and R2Q Operating. Chris is responsible for stewarding and preserving the assets of the organization, minimizing risk, and running an efficient and effective financial operation. He also strategically helps shape the company’s overall strategy and direction by instilling a sound financial approach and analytical mindset throughout the organization to help other parts of the business perform better in order to maximize shareholder value.

Chris has a diverse accounting background that includes real estate, transportation, and software technology to go along with his 15 years of upstream oil and gas accounting experience.

Chris graduated from the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and from G. Brint Ryan College of Business at the University of North Texas with a Master of Science in Taxation and Data Analytics.
