Keaton Kinzer
Keaton is a highly accomplished Senior Reserve Engineer with a remarkable track record in the oil and gas industry. He has served as a crucial member of R2Q’s Operating team for over 11 years, bringing his expertise and dedication to the table. Having graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Texas Tech University, Keaton has honed his skills in various areas, making him an invaluable asset to the company.
One of Keaton’s primary responsibilities is managing reserves and overseeing the reporting of Company assets. He is known for his proficiency in property evaluation, utilizing decline curve analysis, reservoir simulation, and waterflood optimization techniques to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity in asset development.
In addition to his role as Senior Reserve Engineer, Keaton also collaborates with Netherland Sewell & Associates (NSAI) Engineers for third-party reserve evaluations. This partnership ensures that the company’s reserve estimates are accurate, reliable, and in line with industry standards.
Keaton’s technological acumen is commendable, having played a part in the development of the company’s analytics using Power BI, His keen eye for data analysis and interpretation has greatly enhanced decision-making processes, enabling the company to make informed strategic choices.
As a senior member of the team, Keaton manages all Engineering techs and the companies’ PETRA projects. His leadership skills and technical expertise have led to the successful execution of various projects, contributing to the company’s growth and success.
Furthermore, Keaton actively engages with other Engineers in peer reviews of the company’s internal production initiatives. By fostering a collaborative innovative environment, he helps identify areas of improvement and drives continuous enhancement of production processes and workflows.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Keaton remains an active member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and Young Professionals in Energy. These associations allow him to stay updated with the latest industry trends, expand his network, and contribute to the advancement of the field.
In his free time, Keaton enjoys indulging in his passion for golf and exploring new destinations while traveling.
