Michael Luebke
Michael is an accomplished petroleum engineer with strengths in optimizing production and operations, preparing project cost estimates and executing capital and expense well work in an environmentally and regulatory sound manner. Michael has worked for a major, publicly-traded company to various small, independent producers with operations from southeast New Mexico to West Texas/Permian Basin to North Central Texas to Mississippi for the last 25 years.
He has worked gas fields to oil fields and stripper wells to waterfloods. He has worked drilling to completions to reworks to plugging and permitting to design to execution. He is a licensed PE in the state of Texas.Core competencies include well design & operation, artificial lift methods, workover approaches, quality control & assurance, geological engineering & log analysis, field supervision and use of Echometer equipment to diagnose downhole problems.
Additional Competencies include regulatory permitting & compliance, cost control & containment, water-flood analysis, reserve valuation & reporting, and acquisitions & risk analysis. Software skills include the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Access), Theta Rodstar, Echometer QRod & IHS Petra.
